Dated Interior
So latlely ive been on this site alot more and reading alot more articles about the s2000, and ive noticed alot of critics and owners alike stating the interiors of the s2000 are "dated" I honestly do not think the interiors of the s2000 are dated at all. Maybe the earlier years, but the 04's and up are still fantastic to look at as are the earlier models. I still consider my interior in my 05 to a fantastic part of the car
and i wouldnt trade it for anything. esspacially since we are to my knowledge the only car with a sick
that lights up all day
Do other people feel the same way or is the general concensus that the interior really is getting dated? Whats everyone opinions?

dated = don't have navi...so don't believe the hype...I love the interior...simple...functional...and no fat chix allowed due to size constraints
If I ever get the Navi itch, I will get the JDM dash bezel and go to town
the interior is not dated at all. i think that even after ~9 years, it's still modern looking and i haven't gotten tired of it at all. imo the best looking interior of any sports car, AP1 or AP2. it's simple and functional yet stylish. the only reason the critics have dirt on it is because it hasn't changed much. they have the same complaint about the exterior.

its an awesome interior. i like the protruding dash running across the interior. simple hvac control blending in with the "cockpit". stereo controls concealed behind a cover... and theyre all accessible with fingertips
problems with todays interior is too much real estate. they want to show it off. problem is, you've got to fill that space with something: in comes cheap plastic, fake wood, fake carbon, fake aluminum, etc

aside from audi tt, theres nothing "contemporary" out there thats nice
