I don't think it's dated. Just the gadgets and interior technology is dated. A GPS is almost a must nowdays. You can have all the goodies hidden without cluttering up the interior, i.e. Rolls Royce Phantom. Pretty classy.

[QUOTE=Bliss@5200,Dec 27 2007, 10:25 AM]So latlely ive been on this site alot more and reading alot more articles about the s2000, and ive noticed alot of critics and owners alike stating the interiors of the s2000 are "dated" I honestly do not think the interiors of the s2000 are dated at all. Maybe the earlier years, but the 04's and up are still fantastic to look at as are the earlier models. I still consider my interior in my 05 to a fantastic part of the car

I love the S2K interior. It's so simple ... I see what I need to see quickly.

I sometimes don't understand how it could be dated, when it was never the "most updated" interior

Anyway, I never felt the S2K's interior is anything flashy or up-to-date before. But then that's what I needed ... something simple that just ... works ...

I look at my family's TSX. The dash and interior was such a "wow-factor" when we first got it. But that excitement soon died off and became cheesy not too much later.

put in an aftermarket unit and it'll stick out like a black guy at a dave matthews band concert
You know half of the Dave Matthews Band is black, right? I get what you'r saying, but I'd have said "a black guy at a NASCAR race..."

At any rate, I think the S2000 has a great interior, and a great interior design. Its just not electroluminicent blue like "modern" interiors.

S2000 has Navi, its just that Honda America doesn't think buyers want it. Another misstep by HA imo.

Not true either Matt, go to a NASCAR race.

If you want to see dated look no further than the 350Z. Atleast the RX8s interior still looks fresh. The Nissan's looked old when it was new.

Wow. Those RR interiors are horrible.

I think the S2000 interior is excellent, and could easily go into an all-new car for MY08.

You want a dated interior? Try a Lamborghini Countach.

i think it's futuristic more than dated.

besides, anything race inspired, you don't call it dated, you call it classic.

I don't think that it's dated. But the Navi screen from Japan would be nice for the car. I'd also like to have normal guages instead of digital.

I feel like our gauges are going to look like TRON in 10 years.

TRON was nearly 20 years ago. I fail to see your point. Besides........ TRON is in.
