it happens....launching at 8k while turning can be scary if you haven't driven RWD a lot. Good luck with that.

sorry to hear that dude ... my cars in the shop for a few weeks as well. There's nothing worse than having your S2K away from you for more than 24 hours at a time ... I warn you to prepare for withdrawal. Common symptoms? Banging your head on the steering wheel of the car you have to drive around in the absence of your stook, tears running down your cheek while driving, turning on the fan or A/C at max power inside the temporary car to try to poorly mimic the fresh, natural air that a top-down stook provides you on a nice sunny day, and many more to come.

But it is just a car, and alas, it shall return.

I like to toot my horn sometimes because I've spent the better part of the last 15 years learning how to manipulate a car, but the truth is, many times I've done something and it came straight out of my ass and as luck would have it...I came away unharmed, along with my car. I can drive, but I've been lucky. Don't be so hard on yourself, you're OK, and that's what is important. Remember, experience is a wonderful thing...it allows you to recognize a mistake when you make it again .

I'm sorry to hear about your trouble. I guess it is just one of those things. Glad you are okay though... except maybe a sick ego.

wishing you an excellent and time efficient repair.

Drive it like an Accord below 6000....you'll never hit a tree...your (and our) insurance rates wont go up.... but you'll have a lot less fun...another life trade-off.

Can it PellisS2k, if you haven't done something dumb and agressive in a car at some point, you should have purchased a Beetle. Problem is...you have, so shhhhh...

I think he meant to say the car's quirks , every car has them. Some cars are very forgiving, some are not. It really takes a skilled driver to keep the S in line during driving hysterics.
