Dave glad to hear that you are OK!

Sorry about the car.

Can you imagine the thoughts of your neighbor though? Wow that is some fancy John Deer Dave has. I wonder why he is doing our lawn this time of the night?

Dave, sorry to hear about your car. I can't believe you sustained all that damage just from an 8K launch. I guess the tree didn't help either.

Good luck with the repairs.

it will only get away from you if you don't pay attention to what you're doing.

she's like a woman - Treat her right and you'll get much lovin. Handle her the wrong way and she'll smack you so hard you won't know what hit you.

Thanks to all for the well wishes. Sorry no pics, but it looks like about 5-8k to repair. Some of you are spot on with this car. I am a very experienced RWD driver...problem here (I believe) is
1. Shouldn't be launching at 8K around a corner!
2. Rear end broke loose like I wanted but then bit hard and launched me forward...I was looking for continued wheel spin. whoopsie!
3. Not really paying attention as I was so close to home....music up, mouth open, and guard down.

First wreck ever.

I am already banging the wheel of my Passat VR-6

Back soon!

Really sucks!! At least insurance covers the cost, mostly, Make sure a reputable shop does the work and that they tweak the unibody to make sure it meets OEM tolerances, otherwise your car will drive funny forever. Glad the damage isn't any worse.

Just think how fast the s2000 will be once you are back in the seat! Just like driving it for the first time all over again!

Good luck and hope you are back on the road very soon

Bummer! Sorry to hear about your accident. I'm wondering--was there any water (like maybe runoff from someone washing his car) around or something else that might have caused you to skid?

Hope you get your stook back quickly and in good working order.
