My only complaint is that the high-beam indicator is on (lower brightness) when the DRL's are on, going off when the headlights are turned on -- a bit confusing.

Not entirely. They should be mandatory on all silver vehicles at the very least.

Honestly, I don't see the connection. If you feel wussified with DRL's then the problem isn't the DRL's.

Being a motorcycle rider, I hate DRLs. Bikes used to be very visable in daylight as they were the only ones with lights on. Now they blend in with the cars with DRLs.

I agree (also a rider).

This is why I ride with my highbeams on when in heavy traffic volume or on backroads. 10X more visible in daylight that way.

If you want "DRLs" with your parking lights, but cant see the dash, hold the + and your brightness will go back to its usual no headlight on level.
