Dead pedal usage

cruising on highway i use the dead pedal all the time.
i always put my foot on the dead pedal after shifts..

My foot's just kinda on the floor normally. On the track, espescially when cornering, I'm doing leg presses on the dead pedal. I need a racing seat/harness to keep me in the seat better.

I always use the dead pedal when cruising and in between shifts (except maybe 1st to 2nd, cause it's short). Whenever I've taught someone to drive a manual, I teach them to put their foot on the dead pedal between shifts. They always get so frustrated when I keep reminding them that they forgot, but in the end they've developed the good habit NOT to ride the clutch.
