Default Dealer Issued Numbered AutoArt Model

I just picked up a dealer issued AutoArt model car this week. It has a brass numbjer plate on the stand and reads Honda Optional Equipment on the box instead of the usual packaging I see.
Any one know how about these, like when were they issued and how many were made. Maybe even what they are worth? I am not interested in selling it but I would like to know how much I over paid. It was a must have for me once I got to see it.

I saw them at the dealer also. They have alot more detail than the standard autoart. Such as the front lip, spoiler and sides. The price was about $150. What did you pay for yours?

I paid $80, I guess I didn't do too bad afterall. I really like it and didn't buy it for resale. I just like collecting whatever I can find on the S2000.
Thanks for the input.

Mine is the same, I think that was the color that the dealers got. The guy I got mine from was fromerly a parts manager and that is what he told me.
Very interesting that a dealer in you area was selling them to the public. I heard they were only issued to sales managers etc.

FR,
What color is the AutoArt piece you have? I haven't been able to find a red one from them.

The company doesn't make red as far as I know. Mine is silver but my real car is red.
