well, if you want something done right you gotta do it yourself.

and well, i was under the impression that the CRv/passport fuild was the only gear oil they have, hence why we choose to use something else(aftermarket).

and the part number you show is "W-LUBRICANT, ADDITIV".

hows that work...

Remember that when you go in for an operation or some other procedure for which you are not qualified to perform. Give the guy a freaking break! If he attempted to do the work himself, when he admits he's not qualified to do it, then THAT would have been stupid. He did the smart thing by taking it to somebody who should be qualified.

You're an arrogant ass. Enjoy the meal, troll.

reading > you

"I changed the fluid myself a few months ago (w/ Mobil gear lube) "

now, when he says I, thats means himself right? so he did change it himself after they did it wrong. obviously hes qualifiied. 2 bolts. hell, if you cant turn 2 bolts, i have to wonder how you got a drivers license. but, he did it. changed it himself, got it done right. thats cool. why take it to honda to let them fumble it in the first place.

how many times do i have to read "they used the wrong oil/fuild/cleaner/gas/yadda yadda yadda" before people learn if you want it done right, you have to do it yourself...

sooo, get off my back.

At the time of the original work, he didn't feel qualified to do it. Since that time, he learned how. All you have pointed out with your post is that the task was not beyond his reach to learn.

It doesn't change the fact that he didn't know how to do it at the time and didn't feel confident in his ability to do it properly. Trying to do it under those circumstances would have been stupid. Again, don't be so arrogant to assume that because YOU know how to do it and YOU don't mind doing it, that he should feel the same.

Most importantly, like all trolls, your original post was neither helpful nor called for.

(oh and I loved the d00dspeak "reading>you"...at least now I understand where you are coming from)

Sigh.....I would like to take this moment to admit my folly of participating in an Internet Argument. I apologize for hijacking the thread. I guess its time to trot out this photo again and declare ViruX23 the winner....

Not exactly a banner day for you, huh?
1) Apparently you missed the whole point of the post
2) I'm sure you've never laughed at anything like that pic before.
