currently, I had my car at the dealership for about 18 days. Now they are telling me that I must wait until June 7th to get the parts they need to fix my car.

[here's the story]

on june 11th, i brought my car in because it made a ticking noise and it backfired. they fixed the problem by switching out the ignition coils. then, on the same day i get my car back, i took it out for a drive and the car dies. After i struggle to start it back up, it starts to tick, backfire and bog again. so i took it back the following day on a flatbed, and ever since then my car has been at the dealer. after taking my engine apart, they concluded that my valves and retainers were gone. but since they have no clue how that could of happend, it is currently undergoing warranty repair(i don't even know, i never over-reved the car). but it's really angering me because it taking so long for the part. I called Honda of America and they told me they will get the part from Japan ASAP, but they don't really know when it will arrive(but at least they are compensating me for car, i believe they are going to give me a $534(maybe more b/c I didn't take a rental car that they wanted to provide me with) car payment, but i'm going to try to get a honda care warranty from them too.) Anyhow, i was wondering if i'm able to get a full refund for this car?

Sorry to hear about your car. Which dealer did you take it to??

If they can't fix this problem in 4 tries, or if the car is out of commission for 30 days, you can get a full refund through the lemon law. Check this link for more info:
