Does anyone know of a dealer somewhat near Chicago that is willing to sell at MSRP? All the ones I have talked to have been pricks about it... one sales guy was even a 'friend of a friend', and he told us we'd get a great deal. His 'great deal' was $2500 over sticker, saying that their normal price was $6000 over. Blech... dealers! Can anyone help me find an honest dealer?

I searched for months for mine last year. It isn't easy. I also didn't quite pay MSRP, but pretty close.

Jason, I dealt with Carr's Honda for both of mine and I felt like I was treated quite well at MSRP, even. Talk to Colleen Wright at 773.274.7777. Ask for her...

Other than that, it's just going to take some calling around...

When I pass a Honda dealer, I generally stop by to find out what they are getting for 01 and I drop off a business card for our local organization. McGrath of St. Charles, Abdul Tounsi at 630.584.6086. They are getting a yellow one, but I don't know about the price. And the last time I was there, they had a black/black and they are willing to deal. And mention my name, they said they would take me to dinner if you buy from them! hehe

Thanks Greg... I'll give her a try. We are going to be racing the car, and I was hoping to find a dealer that would be willing to trade some exposure for a better deal.

We're at the point now where just getting one at MSRP is attractive!
