Default Dealership Lost Keys

Ok so her is the story, I dropped my car off at a local dealership in my area for some extended warrenty work. I get there around closing so almost everyone is gone, I give the Service Guy my keychain<---remember that there will be a test later....and they rush me off to Enterprise to get a rental. When I come back my car and Keychain are gone, as was the service department. 2 Days later I get a call that they have lost my Keys<---all of my keys, because they kept my whole keychain. So they lost my house key, mailbox, safe deposit box,my lock box and all my little key fobs that you get when you go to Blockbuster and all the food stores and GNC. The dealership says that they are lost and after a 4 day search...nothing. So they cut and reprogram my keys and replace my lost honda fob.
All is well right...........

Fast forward to yesterday

My wife gets a call from blockbuster's automated service saying we had movies out and we were going to get charged for them. They were rented with my lost blockbuster fob...Now im Pissed...So we go to Blockbuster and they girl didnt switch the tapes that day so we cant see who rented the movies, dont fear..the little jacka$$ used his/her own debit card, so now I'm filing police reports with the dealership and blockbuster....Now on to the important question.

I asked Honda to RE-Key the whole car...you know change the locks out..beyond that should I ask them to replace the ECU or do they even need to do that?

What else should I do to make sure they dont have access using my old keys and Fob.

Thanks for the Help in Advance..This Forum is the Greatest resource around!

re-key your house. It's very easy to do. Go to a Home Depot or Lowes and get a new keyset for your entire house.

Bill the Honda dealership for the new keys.

I'm not positive...Billman250 would probably know for sure...but I think you need a new ECU to keep the old key from working.
