Dealing with Alaniz Technologies
Jeez, and to think I was unhappy with his work. BTW, I highly suggest you swap his retainers out because they are a POS. The do not fit correctly because they are just too small and because of that they have a tendancy to gall much faster. There was one guy with only about 5k miles who's valve was almost about to drop down. I will be switching mine out to supertech dual valve springs and retainers shortly after getting my engine going.

The ones on my car do not look the same. I have had the supertech setup and my alaniz head next to each other and there is about a 1mm gap around the springs on my head while the supertech spring and retainer combo are flush with one another. My guess is actually that the springs he uses are too large.
btw, I am referring to the springs being different. I will attempt to take pictures of them next to each other in about two weeks once my engine comes in and my new batch of supertech valvetrain stuff. Billman was the one who first mentioned the difference to me and laskey pointed it out as well.
