Some friends and I visited the dragon on Saturday. You guys are in for quite a ride. I hated that we were going the weekend before the S2000 meet, but we had been rained out a couple times so I could not wait any longer.

One note I wanted to pass along - the speed limit is 40. The 55 sign seen in some pictures is from the NC end, but the Dragon is all in TN. There is about a mile stretch in NC to the gas station where everyone stops (we saw about 50 sport bikes and about 10-12 MR2s there).

There were two cops there checking licenses at Tab Cat bridge (the end on the TN side), then they moved to the overlook (about a mile in). We left after that, so I'm not sure how far in they went. You can hit 50+ in some of the straight aways (though I did the curves under 40). My second gear reds at 65, and I hit the limiter at just one point.
