3M adhesive remover is what you want. You don't need to use heat or anything other than spray on the 3M and try to not let any of it get in your lungs.

I removed the badges from my car and the areas looked exactly like your picture.

3M can be a pain to find, but it is the only thing that seems to work for these situations.

I have a white S2k and went to the red H badges on the front and rear in December. When I removed the front, there was some blue staining under the badge, reminents of (junk BTW) turtle wax ice wax. IT would not come off with as much as carb cleaner, and I had to let the strong Florida sun bleach it out for about 5 months - to which it is now gone.

Sorry for no help - but you are not alone...
Hmm.. i've used that it might be..

I tried rubbing and polishing compounds.. I don't know if im doing it right but its still there.. How much of the polish am i suppose to use on the buffer and for how long?? I tried it for about 5-10 seconds at a time and its still there.. Tried it for about 5 min.

Spray a bunch on with a towel under the area to prevent the runoff, wait 30 seconds and just rub it off with your finger or a microfibre towel. The 3M will chemically react with the adhesive and make it rubber-like. You might have to spray a bit more on the area as you work it.
