Debadging lowers resale potential?
I deleted the side "S2000" and the rear emblem. Easier to clean, and reminds me more of the clean lines of the NSX. the original NSx only had a front "A" emblem and that was it. No stinking stickered badges and emblems all over the place.
For the rear holes, what I did was I took a front bumper license plate plug (color matched) then took a knife and whittled off the prongs. Then used super strength thin foam tape and stuck it over the holes. The edges are flush with the metal, and the holes are covered. It has been on there over 2 years now, no problems.
It blends right in, you can easily wax it now, and is completely reversable if you want the "H" back on there, and cost under $5.

Here is a link to my folder... note the rear shot, sans emblem.

Any modification in any way tends to lower resale value. If you have the right customer, that is to say, someone whose taste in mods is exactly like yours, it can increase it. But for most people, they either won't value or will dislike your taste in mods. Thus, on average, any mods decrease resale value.

Take an "S" from the side "S2000" emblem and put it on the back over the rear 2 holes. I did that and looks great and looks oem and can be removed easily.

Simple solution - don't sell.
I've done so much to my car (including a full frame off repaint deleting all badging) that I'll never be able to sell it for what I've got in it. But I never planned to sell it anyway.
I love the clean look sans badging. If you think you've been irritated by the "Nice Miata", "Is that a Porsche, BMW, et al" just wait until the emblems are off.
Pulled up to a stop light a while back with the top down beside a motorhome. The driver rolled down his window and shouted "Hey, is that a Viper?"
I replied "No, it's the new Miata."

Pics? Would that work for the front also, or are the holes too wide?
You can also try searching for rear s emblem or something as I know I posted them
on here before.
I believe it works for front as well but I had my bumper shaven.
