as a potential buyer i would prefer all badging to be in place but i don't think i'd try to haggle the price for the lack of badges...

Here are a couple pics of the rear S from the fender on the rear.
I have since painted it flat black which looks better imo.
Think it is upside down in these pics as well but since corrected as well but gives you the idea of it.

Just get a custom bumper and carbon fiber trunk and keep your OEM for when you sell...or i agree...DONT sell!

it depends on who your selling it to. I bought mine with S badges, FIPK and x-brace. Thats what made the sale for me... otherwise I would not have purchased it unless the price came down.

Also, always include the stock parts if you sell it. So keep everything you take off... Or just buy all the stock parts from the 'for sale' threads and put it back together.

^^ So true. I'm biased on my opinion to the de-badge topic, keep it OEM and respect Mother Honda.

Then I just saw Black Knights "S" badges above and I'm re-thinking my opinion...those look great!

No, no, no..I must keep my "H"

Regarding resale...as a car shopping professional, anything not OEM I immediately become intense looking for damage, repaint, or metal replacement. If I'm confident the car is 100% fine, I would use the de-badging to haggle the price lower at the dealership claiming it probably had previous mods and an uncertain history. I just went through this with my 350z purchase last month and got the car $8k below asking price. My two cents.

My badges are shaved off and the trunk lid key hole is filled in.

I wouldn't worry about it. Throw some sick wheels on your S, and no one will be looking at the missing badges if you try to sell it.

The “sick wheels” will lower value and potential even more.
