i would have to say an exhaust that is not on your list,
i have the T1R exhaust and it is great, good power gain , no droning at all and the sound is great. check out in the groupbuy page , there are many post about this exhaust.

[QUOTE=PilotKD,Aug 2 2004, 01:02 PM] I would say go with Fujitsubo or the Blitz.

I am really impressed with the sound and build quality of the Fujitsubo.

For what it's worth...
When I had my 2003 Acura CL-S, I spent of fortune and put in CompTech exhausts. After a couple of months, I couldn't take that droning any more so I put back the stock exhausts and sold the CompTech. Save the money and leave it alone.

Sounds like the Fuji would cover what you want. Unless you want to put the money into a Mugen.

Spugen is Str8 up LOUD. I hear The Fujitsubo is pretty quiet. Spugens got quality customer service though...
Are you sure you are thinking of the Spugen dual oval when you say "straight up loud"?? They certainly have some single exhaust systems that are very loud. However, the dual oval is a little louder than stock, with a deeper exhaust note (quietest S2000 exhaust Spugen makes). It does have some droning in the 3-4K RPM range.....but how many exhausts for the S2000 don't drone? The nice thing about that is, who drives in the 3-4K RPM range for more than a couple seconds??

As mentioned earlier, Spugen customer service is excellent.

I wanted a deeper louder exhaust note too and found what I was looking for ($300 out the door price)... I eventually bought Magnaflow mufflers... pics and more info contained in the link. Hope this proves interesting to you...
Good luck and happy motoring...

Had the T1R single....very deep sound, however there is a slight, slight drone on the highway. There is a marked resonance at 3-4K,

But when you get to a hill, the noise was brain rattling. Especially with the top up. I found myself constantly trying to feather the throttle to keep the noise down.

Some have different definitions of droning I guess.

I've since gone back to stock. I had forgotten how good the stock exhaust sounds.

Im certain its Spugen. Dont get me wrong. Its not the loudest on the market (teardrop ), but i do know of a couple of members who traded of this exhaust due to its sound.

It still is one of the exhaust's i consider getting though. But my S is a Daily Driver, So i am hesitant.

I would vote for Borla. Installed it on my car a couple of months ago. Only slightly louder than stock. Deep, throaty tone, no drone, looks stock, high quality (complete stainless), car definitely pulls harder between 3k and 6k.
