Defend your Stook!
I am a former Z3 owner (1.9L). I loved everything about that car except: 1) weak engine (150hp)
And 2) BMW reliability
I sold the Z3 4 years ago.
One day I test drove a Boxster S and a S2000 (both were used so I felt safe exploring the full power band).
I'd call it a draw. Except a new Boxster S cost $55K
Now I figured either the Boxster S is over priced or the S2000 is underpriced.
Anyway Honda has a first rate reliability record and that 9000 rpm redline is in a world of its own

What is the point of my story?? Well, the point is that the reason why I love my Stook cannot be explained by words or figures, but by the extreme intense big ass grin on my face the whole trip back. Right than and there, I realized I own my perfect car!!!
Happy cruising!

I'll give you 9,001 reasons.
Here's the first:
"Every drive to fetch a half gallon of milk, not across the street, but 20 miles away feels like the first test drive."
As for the other 9,000 reasons, refer to the start button.

I had the S dyno'ed back a couple of months ago. There were many other cars running through the dyno. They sounded good, but you could hear the valves/pistons getting upset near redline. But, when the S gets to 8,500 rpm the engine sound changes to a F1 scream. God I love that sound. I down shift to first or second going under bridges and tunnels just to hear it echo back.
