Friday is a long day for everyone. So lets speed it up and play some games. I have a feeling that the right arm is going to have to adjust according to this new CR.

Something in the drivetrain is getting shortened. Could be the gear ratios, FD, shift lever throw. All of these suggest that your hand will be doing more shifting or quicker shifting. Shortened throw seems odd though; Honda hasn't done this kind of thing before and the s2k doesn't exactly have a long throw in the first place. The game reference could be a reference to how many people describe shifters w/ short throws as video game/joystick/toggle switch like. Kind of a stretch, but I'm certain it is not referring to paddle shifting.
Any major changes in the drivetrain are bound to find their way into the "regular" s2000 as well. The reason for this is of course economics and that's why I don't think there will be any substantial changes besides weight, balance and of course appearance. That's good enough to get me excited though. Honda should have done this much earlier and not towards the very end of the S2000 production life cycle.
I never thought Honda would do anything special like this for S. Whatever it will end up being. I am just glad they are doing "something" special.
Now, I'm just wondering if I need to sell my S. j/k
It will be nice for sure.
good read btw.
