That's the answer to the final riddle! It's going to be a Spoon edition S2000 with Mooncraft top!

http://www.roadandtrack.com/article.asp?se...article_id=5059

Why not? Spoon is involved with Chiron Racing, Brammo Motorsports (Ariel), and had a pic of the Spoon Fit in the regular Honda Fit brochures.

wishful thinking...

Why dont these tuner guys ever post performance numbers. All i ever see in Hondatuning, and superstreet, etc are all the parts they changed and how much power its putting out. Big deal. just tell me how fast the damn thing is..lol Do they not post them b/c u can add everything they have to the car and still not be as fast as theirs? I mean what does 2400lbs and 260hp relate to?? Someone please enlighten me. I would like to see how the CR would perform to this in comparison.

Why are Rolex so expensive? Rare. Not that I care for a rolex, its just it nature.
I agree with you a lot of the time, but you've got it backwards on the Rolex. Rolex is a case of them being so rare because they are so expensive. They could definitely build more, but they couldn't sell more at those prices. Companies often set prices at a point to limit demand...actual demand from people with the money to spend. Rolex wants to be exclusive and rare so they set their prices high to limit demand.

Oh, and keep on guessing about the CR. This is fun to watch.

vishnus11 - The warranty factor means nothing to me. Within 2 weeks of bringing it home from the dealership I would do something to mod the car, which would then void my warranty. For comparison, let's say an '06 S2k bought new from a dealer compared to an '08 S2k CR. You could do the same weight reduction and STILL have the A/C compressor and radio/speakers in your garage if you ever wanted to put them back in. You could also do many performance mods to make it outperform the CR. I'm also sure it will be a blast to drive. However, I just don't think the price tag will be close enough to a regular S to make it worth buying.

And especially in OH, you'll be lucky to see 4-5 of them, if so.
I dunno if it's 4 or 5..... (HRA is here too ya know )

Once the specs are released the wife and i will talk about it, think if it's worth it, then probably put a deposit.. we will have to get rid of one of the s2000s though.. we have an '00 and '05 as is..

also, like it was mentioned earlier... sure.. i can buy a used car, dump XX into the car and it'll be "faster", but i'd argue whether or not that would be necessarily "better".
i remember when the dc2r first was being introduced... same argument went around and around... buy a used dc2 drop x amount of $$ into it and it would be "faster"..

this car isn't going to be for everyone.... but for the lucky few that have the opportunity to own one, it'll be a special car for sure

The May issue of R&T has an article on the Spoon S2000. 2400 lbs, 260HP/8500, 9000RL,coupe, $55k.
I believe if you read page 2 of the article online, it's actually 24000 pounds. Little did anyone know, this car will be made of lead!!
