Default Delivery date

I ordered my car on March 16 (finally!). The dealer told me that they would know by today if I would get delivery for first week of May or if it would take until the first week of June. The dealer phoned me today to say that somebody in Montreal had ordered red (my colour) but changed their mind to black and that I could have that car around the middle of April. It'd be nice to get it that soon, but does that sound kosher to everyone?

I realize you're in Canada, but yesterday wouldn't be soon enough to get an S2000. I wish you years of enjoyment and good weather for top down driving. Congrats.

I've replied to your PM. It seems that Quebec's economy is still kinda in the dumps and this is reflected in the way the car sales look. Certainly the customer may have chosen a different car but they may have also just "walked" away from the deal due to personal circumstances and no dealer wants to admit they had a deal and lost it. Mine was just sitting there in some Quebec dealer's lot. They were desperate to unload it. My dealer ate the extra shipping charges since it was in the deal to get me that car regardless of where it came from. Looking forward to seeing your new ride.

Congrats on the S. It looks like there will be a group of us cruising around Cowtown this summer. If I see a red one, I'll know it is you

Woodson has been to our last pub meet. Hope you'll come to our next one and meet everyone. There are now 6 board members in Calgary that I have "rounded" up. If this bloody brass monkey freezing weather ever gets flushed, we'll do another one. Hard to get motivated when it's like this outside.

How long have you had yours H22a4? And what the heck does your name mean?
Looks like a road trip!

Hi Woodson, I've had mine for a week and a bit. I bought one off the lot so I picked it up a week after putting a deposit on it.

About the name, H22a4 is the Prelude engine code. I had a 5th Gen prelude before and traded it in for the S. I regret it a little seeing this weather out but I am sure summer will change all that

They told me if I wanted to order one from the factory it would have came in June. I guess red is a bit harder to find than silver. I think over half of the S2Ks in Cowtown are silver.
