Detroit dealers
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS. Pick me. Pick ME!!!!!
Take the trip up to Suburban Honda on Haggerty Road in Novi/Farmington Hills. They have a brand new facility finished just late last year.....the workshop floor is SPOTLESS, there is a big window that you can see them working on your car, and they even provide DONUTS every morning!!!!!! Not the crappy ones either! MMMMMMMM.........donuts! They also have a TV, all the latest news papers and its completely a non-smoking environment. It's actually about as clean as a brand new hotel!!!
Seriously, they really make you feel welcome there. They are totally professional and it shows in everything they do. No damage to the car either, unlike the horror stories I've heard about other dealers.
I bought my car from Tamaroff, but taking a look at the DINGINESS of their service department made me RUN RUN RUN away from there. Same goes for Anderson Honda. Dingy service department....better than Tamaroff, but nowhere near as professional and nice as Suburban.
I only take my car to Suburban. I'm not sure where you live, but it's THOROUGHLY worth the drive, however long it is.
Cheers,

I have always had great success with Sunshine Honda in Plymouth. They have worked on all of my cars (CRX, 2 Preludes, and the S2000) if there has been a problem. They are about to move into their new facility in Feb.
I live on the East side on the lake so Jeffrey is the closest. Have heard good and bad about this dealer. have had no problems with the Acura people there but never dealt with Honda-they are still charging about 5 grand over sticker when most other metro Detroit dealers are charging MSRP. Anyone been to Jeffrey Honda lately? Maybe I'll have to head west for the work. I bought the car at Mitchell/Friendly Honda up on Hall road but neither the salesperson or mechanics could answer even simple questions a year ago when I bought it (found all my answers right here!!).
Finally, I get to help other people.
First of all, DO NOT GO TO TROY HONDA. I have very bad experience with them. They tend to forget where is your car and the car ended up in the bodyshop without my knowledge.
I would recommand Hower Cooper in Ann Arbor for services. According to Honda District Service Rep, Hower Cooper always takes care of other dealership's mess up. and, they are number 1 in service in this region. I know one person has taken his car to Hower Cooper after Brighton Honda's inability to fix his S2K. and, Hower Cooper fixed it.
Anyway, I don't work for either dealerships and do not get any money from them. Just my personal experience.
Good Luck.
