Ok, I've read a lot of posts on here about people getting ripped off on e-bay and other places, so I found it fitting to bring up something that was positive.
Around a week ago, I saw an item that I wanted advertised used and decided to buy it. This was the much beloved VAFC. Well since I'm getting ready to go to Sears Point with Speedventures, I knew that time was of the essence.
It didn't take long b4 we were at terms with the price which included shipping. I sent the money and the seller sent the merchandice.
What I didn't know was that this person decided to send the package next day air to make sure that it gets to me on time b4 my track day.
This was all done after the fact and after the money was sent. This was a nice gesture and I felt it was proper to thank this person.

it's nice to see a positive story from ebay ordering. i too had many good experiences but some bad ones as well. i must have been ripped off for more than $10,000 total from trusting someone over internet... the worst thing is that the police won't bother to help much.
