Hey I'm wondering if anybody knows the difference between ap1 (specifically 00) and ap2 shocks and springs? thanks

 

 

Here's the official word from Honda on the difference between '03 and '04 coilovers:

Springs:
- Front: Increased spring rate 6.7%
- Rear: Decreased spring rate 10%

Shock Absorbers
- Tuned for new suspension settings


I've never seen any official numbers on 00-01 to 02-03 coilover changes, just that they were changed.

 

And while we're at it:

Stabilizer Bars (mm)
- Front: Same
- Rear: -1.8 x 0

Front spring rate +9%
Rear sring rate -10%
Front bar the same 26.5 x t4.5
Rear bar reduced -1.8x0 (from 27.2xt4.5 to 25.4 x t4.5)
Damper rate change unspecified

2007 -> 2008:
Front Spring rate +7%
Rear Spring rate + 9%
Front bar up 0.7x0.8 (from 25.4 x t4.5 to 27.2 x t5.3)
Rear bar the same
Front damper +10%
Rear damper + 5%

2008 -> 2008 CR
Front spring rate +37%
Rear spring rate +17%
Front bar +1.4x-0.8 (from 27.2 x t5.3 to 28.6 x t4.5)
Rear bar +1.1x0.0 (from 25.4 x t.4.5 tp 26.5 x t4.5)
Front damper +50%
Rear damper +32%


Just curious if anyone knows how much more damping (%) does Koni yellow over the 2007 stock damper?
