Difference in attitudes on the road depending on car?

i agree with you totally...

when i drove my s2... people let me merge into traffic on the highways... when i take my parents slk... they could care less if they push me onto the shoulder...

Yeah, I have to agree. My everyday car is an Accord 93 - and I just blend in with every other 4 door family car pluggin along the road. With the S2K driving is a completely different experience... You feel good about driving and other people defintely give you more room... (of course I don't have annoying people trying to race me in the accord. )

I guess it's a bit of both, i know i'm no saint either, and when on my bike i sometimes tend to treat cars as some kind of dead obstacles on the road that needs to be negociated on my terms. So i know my attitude depends a bit on what i drive...
