Default Different colored headlights...help

hey guys,
I was down down my blvd last fall a saw this red AP1 with purple/redish headlights. Different then OEM. Just wondering how he did this...im guessing a different colored bulb. IF SO what size and where might i find this.

i know it wasnt colored stick on lenses becuz ive seen it up close and off.
BTW if you guys want the lense fiom i found it here. they also have 3M clear bra's/hoods/fenders/mirrors guards for the AP1 and 2's

www.stickercity.com

thanks

what you saw was the cutoff from the bulbs. He had stock d2s bulbs and he just made a different cutoff shield behind the projector to "bend" the color out of the bulbs. This involves taking your projector apart and making a new shield and doing the "washer" mod.

the washer mod wont get you the red. but it will definately make the blue more intense. maybe a little purple if your lucky.

the washer mod doesnt decrease brightness, if u put a 1.8 mm washer it actually sharpens the cutoff
