So. . . I keep reading posts about how the S2000 has no power under 6K , how the S2000 is just an overgrown Miata (as if), how the S2000 is a poor man's Boxster, M Roadster, etc. . .

Comments like these have never bothered me (and never will), but I was talking to a friend of mine and he put it like this. . .

". . .Owning a sports car (or motorcycle) is about satisfying your enthusiasm."

I thought this was a great line because enthusiasm doesn't have leather seats, a price tag, torque rating or Hp rating, its completely subjective and relative. . .

What satisfies your enthusiam today may not tomorrow and similarly, what makes someone else feel warm and fuzzy may not "do it" for you. . .

Just something to keep in mind the next time someone with a (fill in the blank) tries to inform you why his/her car is the "be all/end all" in automotive excitement. . .

Hehe...

When a V6 owner made that comment to me, I told him to run his car w/ only 2/3 of its 6 cylinders at full throttle and tell me how strong his car might feel.

I always think of the Stook in terms of how it relates to it's predecessors and my expectations have always been exceeded.
