Digital dash, possible to change colors!
A nice EL white is possible, which is actually the base color of my project. It looks great at night, like the blue, but there is yet another problem specific to EL sheets with white during the daytime. I'll provide more information soon...

I see what you're talking about, but the dash only appears whiteish (sp?) because of the color wash and nighttime expore setting of the videocamera. If you compare the orange dash (which appears white) to the other S2000's amber sidemarkers, stop lights, and other lights in the video, you will see that the other lights appear white-ish as well... I'm pretty sure it's a stock dash. You can actually still see the orangeish of the dash.

Blue is nice, but what I'd really like to see, as a former Lexus LS400 owner, is converting our dash to a lexus-like electroluminescent WHITE light.
I found this dash on a great video! You only catch a glimpse of it, but you can pause the video.

Oh well...
The short version:
Taking the whole thing apart
Making an identical text putting it on top of an EL sheet specially shaped for the size
putting a plastic above for protection
wiring everything to the inverter (for driving the EL) wiring the driver to a power source inside the car
putting everything back together
that's it
