Rick, that looks great. Will we have the option to not have the gauges dim as the headlights are turned on?

i would most likely be in if it had a clock on it too (that's why i'm not changing my stock headunit yet).

HI All

I heard a few guys say they wanted analogue style gagues but digital... do you mean like the bar graph type used o nthe Normal dash.

IF so, these are pretty easy to make up, there is even an IC which wil do most of the work for you, it takes an input of say 0-5 volts as the range for the input.

If your sensor (e.g. Temp) could be calibrated to give this voltage (easy done) then you would have a guage made of say 5 leds which would light in a linear fashion as the voltage changed:

Lights when x volts applied:
0 - 1 volt
0 - 2 volts
0 - 3 volts
0 - 4 volts
0 - 5 volts

taa daaaaaa.

ANyone want the circuit?

I meant a digital guage with some kind of sloped graph readout, not just a bar graph. I don't know if they even exist.

I would prefer analog gauge. I am a idiot who doesn't know where is the red zone for each unit (water temp, old pressure, etc...) Or, the digital read out will have it some blinking thingy to warn you if the temp is too high or oil pressure is too low!!
