That Rick guy, man I dunno.... If I can ever afford an S2k, I'll end up spendin' as much on his upgrades as I spent on the car.

Very, very nice, Rick!!! Oh by the by, the Subaru shift boots are receiving good praise, so far. Only one pic so far, and it's not terribly clear. Still awaiting some good ones.

Thanks, Chris. Glad the boots are being well received.

Rick,

I had assumed this would be a kit-type product. More better would be if we could exchange the doors and someone at your end could cut the holes and install the gauges. In any case, I do hope you decide to market it (perhaps subcontracting the labor to some enthusiastic tinkerer). I would definitely buy.

Calc,

The hand labor required to do all that you've suggested --- drill the holes, mount the guages, and solder up the basic connections -- would make the cost prohibitive. If we do this at all, it will only be as a kit of parts with detailed instructions.

I going to test fit the assembly into my car this weekend and wire up the power connections, so I'll have more to report soon.

Rick, if the instructions are up to your usual high standards that shouldn't be any problem at all.

Need an expert tech writer to proof and edit your procedures for you? Wouldn't cost you much--just a reasonable discount.
