Anyone done this? I no longer have a beater, so I need to do this to pick up the demon spawn.

 

I too would like to know if there is an easy way to disconnect and reconnect when needed. Can you just pull a fuse or is there a harness that can be disconnected??

 

I thought Honda could do a retro-fit airbag switch. I'd like know, as well, though. My 2.5 yo would probably love a ride.

 

Well, the Honda dealers and the local Acura/Honda specialty shop won't do this. But I did manage to find a company that makes a compliant/approved key switch for the car. $375 installed or $125 for the part. I don't need it till late Dec, and it will be DIY. I'll take pics and give a review if anyone else expresses interest.
