Default DIY: How to install Air Cleaner Element?

Please advise how to install new air cleaner element (remove & replace)?
I opened "air box" to study configuration, but was reluctant to attempt without instructions, to advoid breaking any hardware.

You talking about the engine air filter or the cabin air filter?
The cabin air filter change is written up in the FAQs at the top of UTH.
The engine air filter is pretty easy. Take lid off, find the ring at the pointy end of the filter, pull up on ring to detach the pin from the holder, hold onto the black rubber intake tube and wiggle the filter out of the tube. Install the new one in reverse order.

Hi Xviper and fellow members

Just bought OEM air filter and installed it. Having some doubts if I have done it correctly. There is one "fin" on the rubber hose which I pushed into a "slot" on the filter side. But I also noticed there are three small "tabs" on the filter side which I don't have any ideas what to do with. Please advise. Thanks very much.
