It really depends on how you read it.

If you read the letters "L-S-D" then he is right.

If you read it as "limited slip differential" then he is wrong.

You are SO RIGHT!!! The car is even more tail happy with the mod. You must take great care and be mindful driving the car.
Once you get the hang of it and understand the characteristics of the car with a clutch type LSD is when the fun starts.

I know that you have a great amount of seat time in both the Miata and S2000, with my little experience I find the car to be more easy to handle (1.5 LSD equipped) now that you can throttle drive it.



They still make me everytime I build one

You know this car O, so well.... I have the OEM rear wing and a front splitter that I designed for better front down force. The car feels much better at speed now.
I am just getting back from doing a PM Stage 2 diff install on a friends S2000 in Orlando. The rear is equipped with a Cusco RS 1.5 LSD.
He is a very competent and fast driver and placed third in his class this year.
I explained to him he is now going to have to relearn the car all over. He also has the Mugen front splitter and rear wing to help keep the car more stable at speed.

I went for a ride with him just to go over on what to expect, and to instill to take it easy till he had a little seat time with it. I wish I could do this for everyone that opts for a clutch type LSD.

Regardless of what they drive, I really wish everyone could have a chance to take a course in car control. Things like threshold breaking or correcting a slide can be as important in street driving as they are in competition.

As far as my knowing the car well, all I can say is that I'm still learning.
