Default Do I have to put my

Unfortunately, my daily driver is down right now so i am using the S for work. I wouldnt mind so much but its raining here in So. Cal. So i am debating on putting my stock airbox in because of the rain. I have a AEM CAI installed, and I dont want to f-up my engine due to hydrolock. anyone have any tips besides avoid big puddles, so that i dont have to re-install the stock box? Thanks ....

You should be okay. As long as you don't go into flooded areas with risk of completely having the filter submerged in water you should be fine.

That's the problem here in socal, it doesn't rain much so when it does you get flash flooding which if you're in the wrong place at the wrong time will submerge you filter. He's not worrying too much just being cautious.

I don't think you need to replace you stock airbox though, just try and avoid deep water.

Whatever happened to that valve thing AEM had released? Do they still make it or did it not work properly?

I've been using an AEM for quite some time, and my car is very low. No problems yet . . .
