I believe you will at least need kit C which is the cheapest of the 3.

The 00 needs A+B, the most expensive
the 01 and a few 00-03 colors need B
I think all the 04s only need C though.

 

I just got my top for MY04. You need the kit and it comes in the box with the top.

 

what is a hardware kit? I bought mine from the dealership with the hardtop already on it. They didn't tell me about any kit!

if your car came with the hardtop then you already have the kit

it's a wireing harness that will allow you to use the rear window defroster, softtop bypass switch and two rear bracket's that allow you to insert the rear pins on the hardtop
