I barely see any s2ks and I've only been flashed by the one I did see who happened to be on the site. I mentioned in my original post that it only happens during the day with my headlights off cause I didn't want people to think it was cause the other drivers are being blinded. One spot it happened in does have a speed trap, but the cop wasn't even there that day.

I seriously don't think there was ever a cop around when it happened because I have a heightend sense of awareness for cops since I'm a FedEx courier and a clean license means everything. I think they like the car. Random people honk going in the other direction of me as well and it's generally when it's a nice day when I have the top down. Maybe they're just feelin it haha

I always get people flashing their high-beams at me. Usually its in traffic and its their way to road rage. I passed a car tonight, he was behind some other guy going 5 under the limit so I go around them (4 lane road) and the guy that was stuck behind the slow poke tears out from behind him after I pass and flashes his lights and rides my bumper. Sigh..

A much more effective approach for warning people is strobing your lights OFF/ON/OFF/ON/OFF/ON. It's more noticeable and less annoying.

Isn't that bad for HID headlights?

It is bad for ALL lights, as in...it will reduce the life of the light.

With such a low frequency of occurrence, it's really irrelevant.

Every time you flash your light it is 17.58 hours of life lost.
