Default Do prices on used s2k's drop closer to winter?

I'm in the market for a 04-05. I am in Maryland and as wondering if prices may drop as we approach winter. I assume dealers would want to get rid of used convertibles.
Thanks

Convertables tend to be cheaper in the winter, due to the fact that dealers cannot sell them as easily, as most people look for convertables in the spring. You should at least be able to negotiate the price down easier in the winter. Specifically, early to mid winter.

Absolutely in Maryland.
But then consider you're paying for a car you may not be able to use during the Winter... and you'll lose $1500 in resale when the model year cycles.

I never understood people who "saved" $1000 by getting an end of year closeout... only to get screwed on resale by much more than that.

The only way it makes sense if you keep it until the wheels fall off and the resale loss per year is minimal.

Worked for a car dealership and this is an urban legend. They will only drop the price to get rid of old stock and usually S2000s aren't hanging around that long. You can get brnd new 2006 ford taurus' for 8K!
