Do these sound like good deals?
HI. I have been researching a good price for an S2000 for about 2 months now. I have 2 in mind that I am going to go look at this Saturday, so hopefully I will be an S2K owner by the end of the weekend.
I do however have a few questions that I'm sure only seasoned S2000 owners would know and answer honestly.
The 1st runner up is a 2002 Sebring Silver with 10,000 miles for $22,900.
2nd runner up is a 2001 Formula Red with 15,553 miles for $21,995.
Which is the better deal? I know they changed many things in 02', but are the changes worth $1000?
Now, seeing as how I live in Pennsylvania and it is the end of summer, should I wait to buy one over the winter, or is the price difference not that noticable?
Also, I am definately getting a hardtop for it - There will be no theives cutting the top of mine. Do the hardtops go directly over the soft top? I tried hardtopguy.com but they didn't say too much about the tops, just the price.
I want to get the best car for my money. (which is under $23,000.) I had to sell my most prized possesion and the love of my life (my Civic) for a sizable enough down payment on an S2000, so I want to make sure I'm getting the best deal. This will be the first thing I've ever had to make payments on.
Oh, and anyone from PA here?
Thanks in advance!
