I'm currently on my third S2, and i'm not letting this one go. First one was a mistake letting go, second one was a financial issue, and this time i am not letting go ever lol.

As everyone mentioned, change it around slowly & weekend driving for me as well. Car never gets boring, always a blast to drive and puts a smile on my face.

I never get bored with the S, but I do buy other cars and bikes so I am changing it up pretty often. You might want a second car or a bike for variety.

As someone who has both daily'd and weekend'd the S2000, it works A LOT better as a weekend car. To answer your question though--no, never bored with it.

I have never been bored with my AP1 when I bought my sedan as my DD/beater for the rainy/cold/winter/crap days and only drove the S on nice days.

Pretty much this.

Absolutely this. In fact I don't think I would start to necessarily get bored of my S2000 if I had to DD it, but rather I'd start to hate it!

The only thing I get tired of (and maybe that falls into the "bored" bucket) is the low torque launch of my S...

I am not asking for a rocket, mind you...but I think the car would be a little more exciting if it had a tad bit more oomph in the normal day-to-day launch from stoplights, etc...

I have urges to purchase a new car, perhaps something domestic, coupe, or 4 doored machine; however, I do not want to start making car payments again.

Have anyone felt this way? If so, how did you get past it?
don't daily drive the car, after you get back into it after driving a second vehicle it is pure heaven. I would hate it as a daily driver though. Also, when I get bored I just buy a new mod / part for the car, brings a smile to my face when parts arrive.

I've had my AP1 since May 2014 and agree it's not a DD for me. Have a 2006 Element for that. They are so different to drive and the E is my "station wagon" when that is needed. Had to use the S2k as a DD for 2 weeks when the E was in for repairs recently and it did get boring. Also missed having an automatic for those days stuck in summer traffic. Plus the E has a pretty nice stereo that rocks out compared to the S2K. It's like a room on wheels. Got the S2K with 17k and now have 24.6k. Appreciate it more for good weekend driving and think why bother racking up miles if the driving is slow commuter traffic. Would rather roll up the windows in the E and crank the tunes. Having said that the S2k is my favorite of all the cars I've ever owned.
