Do you ever wish the hardtop came standard?

Holy cow.....how short exactly? I can just about stand on one side of the car and reach the other side of the roof.
Haha, seriously. I can also pretty much reach the other side of the car as well. Other cars (my Civic, parents' BMW, gf's tC) are very different and I can only reach about halfway.

I would've loved to see a retractable hardtop on the S. Cuts down all the worries when leaving your car. Maybe a little more weight with it, but I can deal with that. I'm pretty sure it is not much more than the ones running a hardtop and softop(weight wise).

I definitely wish they came with a hardtop standard.... not that I DON'T like the drop top, because I do, and use it quite a bit, but because they just look SO good with a hardtop.

Top up, top down. HT on/off. Options are the advantages of owning a HT for the S. Glad it's an option and not a fixed roof. Love my HT.

I think it would have been nice but then again I bought mine used, and the only reason I would purchase a hardtop is for the track

I wish the S2000 had been offered as a coupe. I would've bought that version instead. As it stands, though, I didn't have that option, so I'm dealing with the convertible (which even I will admit is nice on cool, sunny days). Eventually, though, I'll get a hardtop and the softtop will be gone forever.
