do you feel pressue to upgrade
I "downgraded" too.
For some, we just want change.
That change usually is up, because our pockets grow.
Most of us are car enthusiasts so we wouldn't be swayed by status, and "irrelevant" things. We focus more on the driving experience.
Sometimes that means getting a Cayman S, sometimes that means getting a turbo'ed Miata.

do you feel any pressure from society, friends, spouses, neighbors to upgrade from the little honda?

or could you see yourself being a proud owner as you age?
[QUOTE=dyhppy,Feb 22 2008, 07:11 AM]of course the easy answer is that you'll keep the car and add some other fancy mobile.
I believe in the philosophy of never selling a quality car. A major reason why I bought the S2000 and not a cheaper car( I am a grad student and lets just say my position is highly leveraged
) was that I would like to own it for life if the gods above permit. As far as upgrading is concerned I will upgrade but only when I can afford the upgrade along with the S.
