Man, I drove a yellow S2000 here in Roseville, CA and I can't stop thinking about it. I just moved into a new house last Dec., got married in Jan., have a decent job with possibility of a promotion soon. But, I am constantly hearing my dad in the background telling me that the S2000 is an impractical car and that I should save money for when I have kids. When does the saving ever end? I figure I should get the car while I'm young at 26, then wait till I'm 50 or 60 and have that convertible vette I also like. Life is full of decisions, the S2000 is like no other car that I have driven. I am also wondering if the prices of the S2000 will come down. Dealers have been calling me with prices as low as 34K. Time will tell. If I get the promo and/or get into the MBA program I want then I will get one.

King kong... when did you test drive that yellow s2k in Roseville???? I bought one there on March 14th... You may have driven my car! Only had 10 miles on it when I test drove it....

If you did drive it, I hope you didn't go over 5500 RPM?!

Robert, I drove the car a couple of weeks ago. When you bought the car did it have around 40miles on it? Did you buy it with your girlfriend for full price? If not, then I drove a different one. Who was your sales person? Marc

Hm... sounds like you drove my car...
I had a woman with me, the car had 20 miles on it not 40 and I put those miles on during the test drive. I paid 34K but they took my car off my hands. I owed $10,300 and most of the dealers wouldn't give me more then 8K for it. I did try to sell it for about a week, but I figured it was worth the 1.3K to just get rid of the thing. Blue book was $10,200.
My salesman name is Mike Lynch.

Now, was it my car you drove?

So, what did the dealer say to you? I always figure I could get a better deal, but I'm just impatient ... and really good at rationalizing )

Thanx!

Robert, I drove a yellow S2000 on March 29th at AutoWest Honda in Roseville. I know they had a red and a yellow one. I don't think it was the same one. If you bought yours on the 14th. I am positive that the one I drove had around 29 miles on it already. This is weird. I know they only had one yellow one. Hmm, AutoWest Honda right in the automall? Hey, do you live in Roseville now? Maybe we can get together and you can tell me how much you love that car. I am still thinking about getting one. Email me.

Yepser, I'm sure it was AutoWest Honda in Roseville. Eurika off of 80 then first right at the light...

It was March 14th, and my milage disclosure says 20 miles...
Strange that they would get two Yellows in... I guess Yellow is more available then I thought . There was only one yellow in the bay area and they wouldn't budge from 42K!

I'm not is Roseville. I'm actually in Sunnyvale which is about a two hour drive. If you have any plans to be in the Bay Area e-mail me, I'll take you for a drive... I've already put 1400 miles on the car... Nothing more fun then driving down Hiway 1 with the top down.

Hope you get one . I know I love it!

Marc, I think I'm the owner of the yellow S2000 you drove. I bought the yellow from Autowest on April 6th and it had 67 miles on it! How weird.

Hey Paul, yes, that must have been the same yellow one. I didn't work it hard, so don't worry. Any chance you can give me a ride in yours since its broken in now? I live in Roseville too.
