Top up for me.... The longer I leave the top down, the longer the crease stays in my plastic window. I want to upgrade to glass
This is a good point. Plastic window + top down a lot = worse crease.

Also I agree heavily with the spider comment as my garage is infested as well as the occasional chipmunk that I don't want eating parts of my car.

If I was driving around with the top down I leave it down when I get into my garage ... if the top was up I will put the windows down if they were up (to help the leather "breath").

I think there is an issue with the top down all the time where the elastic straps will wear out sooner because they are stretched all the time, but that's all I've heard.

'02, 40,000 miles, top is still tight and I have no issues witht he internal top straps.
My car is rarely if ever parked in the sun, garage at home and ramp garage at work.
When I'm leaving the car for a long time I put the top up and latch it, when I'm just running in and out of a store I put the top up, but never actually latch it tight.
When I park in my garage at night I put the top up to keep dust out of the interior, but again, I do not latch it.
When I park the car for winter storage I do the same thing, top up, not latched.

i leave the top mostly up when i'm not in the car.

the only exception is when i'm making a quick stop and there's no one around or if it's a parking lot meet.

My top is always up in my garage overnight... keeps those crazy lookin' spiders out.

I'll leave the top down if I know I'm gonna use the car again later in the day.

I keep the top up in my garage because the interior gets dusty REALLY quickly...even for being inside an enclosure.
