Never thought I'd own one, got it and said I'm keeping this baby. Only had a car for almost exactly a year before getting rid of it/crashed only for the next car to last again but a year. This ones going on lil past that now and o plans to ditch it. Only way I'd get rid of it is if it crashed obv or motor blows, ect, something that would be way to expensive to fix. And afterwards would probly try and find another to buy. Deff need another car for the winter though, after going threw this one with it wasn't the worse thing in the world but was Deff a HUGE annoyance with nothing more then few inches.

Although, I'm not necessarily waiting for Honda. If someone else builds an interesting, affordable sports car before Honda, then that's where I'll spend my money. That said, I've had my S2000 10 years and see no reason to move on yet.

God willing, I hope I can keep it forever and in good condition.

I have an 02 ap1. Bought it with 29k/mi 5yrs ago and currently have 68k/mi (put about 7-8k/mi per yr). Would be nice if I can work on it together w/ my (future) kid(s) in the garage, and eventually pass it down. I definitely plan on giving it a heart tx when the miles get high. I have the all red interior and the OEM red seats are hard to come by. Brides, Sparco, or Recaros will take care of that problem.

The only fear I have would be rust.

I thought about S2k to NSX...I rather keep my s2k. To me the NSX is somewhat dated compared to the s2k. I LOVE the NSX, but it's just not worth losing my s2k. I can spend 10k into my s2k (turbo or S/C build) and have a completely new car vs buying a NSX and dealing with the maintenance.
