Absolutely. I can't see ever wanting a different weekend/fair weather warrior unless I somehow come into a very large sum of money. Even then, it'd be paid off and I don't think I could ever bear to part with it.

No question - keeping it. Approaching 8 years of ownership.

I bought mine in July of 07 with 29K miles and it's been driven almost every single day since i've owned it. She's currently at 120K and will probably be around 180-200K before I purchase a daily or upgrade. This is the point where I'm stuck. Do I keep her in the garage and pick up an Evo X (or some other jack of all trades car) for daily duties or do I sell the S and get a C7? I love my S but I've always wanted a Vette.

Plan to keep her forever...paid off and is my daily. Even if she breaks down, she can sit in the garage until she can get fixed and then back on the road. We have two other cars at home so it won't be a critical situation. Hope to keep her healthy and purring for years to come!

I'd really like to think so. Forever is such a statement to make. I thought I'd be married forever. I'm not anymore. Hopefully I can keep an S around. Might not be this one forever.

Life's too short to be with one car, change isn't always a bad thing!

Maybe. I like the car a lot, but it's not my favorite car that I've owned. I may keep it forever, I may not, I'm really unsure at this point. If I do keep it forever, it would be for my love of collectibles, not for my love of the car itself, though. I guess it depends on the collectors market in the next few years.
