Do you torque load your powertrain before a hi rpm clutch dump?

I can just see a new competition starting - how many 6k rpm clutch drops can you do before something breaks! I have about 120 or so 3-4k rpm clutch drops...

Penforhire,

I can't tell if you are being facious or not. But unless your at nationals no one will tear down your car, and I doubt anyone is challenging clutches.

Yep... Pen's right. All stock, and the clutch/pressure plate are fine. As long as you don't slip it. Our clutch was only spun once when the car was new and our least experienced driver (sorry, Juliann! ) slipped it too much on a launch. But since then, it's been fine. Literally 800+ clutch dumps, and that's being conservative... it could be as many as 900.

I was just curious. I'm still waiting to track my car for the first time as Its new.
