You should totally get a Durastar. Choices from 560lb/ft - 860 lb/ft of torque!

Boost the S. My friend's dad has a Viper GTS. I've driven it. The S is more fun in anything but a highway pull. And parts to modify are sooo expensive. It's hard to justify buying a car like that on a budget.

It seems you bought the S2000 for the image now you find you want more. More what, driveability or straight line speed, or what. You have changed the car you bought with mods before you really had time to live with it so why would one expect you to appreciate the car for what it is - it is not a go fast car but goes fast enough, it is small, it is quick enough in the twisties, gets good enough mileage, and it looks good. IMO you will never be happy enough with your S2000 so... sell it.

Do you track the car?

The Viper is a ridiculous car, and is also ridiculously scary to drive fast. There are plenty of cars in between the S2000 and Viper which I would purchase first. Honestly, I think the Viper would be more scary/dangerous than fun to drive spiritedly.

No. I dont plan on tracking it either on a straight line (a course I REALLY WANT TOO). I just want a powered roadster that can be quick and nimble yet still maintain a decent level of power on the straight away. Like I said before, have the power of the STI, yet move and look like the S. I still want a roadster, just some more power. and if I got a Viper I would never track it straigt line either, it would be sprited and Courses.

I have a close friend with a 2000 RT10, intake, exhaust, headers, hfc, it is an absolute torque monster car is really fast and actually handles quite well, BUT it can be scary as hell if you get it out of control as he did a couple of times. On another note the interior quality is about as good as a neon. The S is an amazing little car tough choice the Viper is just a brute, fun in different aspects are both.

A set of decent tires (in stock size) on a Dodge Viper...is about $1,000.00!

Also if you drive a Viper the way it was made to be driven the rear tires will last about 4,000 miles, tops. Just food for thought since you're talking dollars and cents.
