I was not looking to start a fight. I hope that I did not offend you.

I know a lot of the mods I listed were done on other cars. The headlights were a good example, we could use just about all of Rick's product line as comparison points too if that's better. Like, why bother taking the whole dang center console apart just to get a leather shift boot of the same color?

The point is the same. If he wants to spend (guessing here, and trying to go WAY high) $1000 to do this, how is that different from someone spends $30,000 on a custom turbo kit with all the dressings? It is an excessive waste of money for some, not for others.

(I am personally of the opinion that instead of spending $30k for a car, then spending $30k to make it faster, it would be cheaper and easier to have bought a faster car in the first place.)

I know it has been said that the whole steering column and shaft need to be changed. I am still holding out hope that another way can be found.

Again, I don't mean to sound confrontational at all. If it comes off that way, please re-read it in a different state of mind. I know better than to pick a fight with a moderator.

Hotknives: keep us posted on your progress please.

I got the VGS steering wheel at Verno Honda in Japan while I was there in the beginning of 2001. I picked up the headlights, and some other stuff while I was there.
