Default Does closing the passenger side vent increase air to the driver?

Hi. Many times I am riding alone and want the maximum air I can get blowing through the vents at me. If I close the passenger side vent, will I get more air than if it's open?

Also, I'm a little confused by the little arrows on the vents themselves. They seem to point in either direction. Are these indicators of some kind?

Yes, it does increase air flow to the driver side. I do it all the time.

Another tip is that in "open-roof" mode the driver vent is still active. Use that to warm a hand.

My passenger vent stays closed all the time. I mostly drive by myself but I'm still greedy if someone is in the passenger seat. Louisiana is just too damn hot in the summer.
