Does having the top town really slow down the S2000? (results)

I have to go pretty slow with the top down when my wife is along.

My top speed top up is 167mph. I could keep going too but i was too scared. Top down, i've hit mid 140's.. it is amazing how much louder the wind is every time u add 40mph to u'r speed. My god, at 140 it felt like my ears were going to be ripped off. I shut down, but it wanted to keep going as well.
